A large-scale project with unique architecture and a modern living concept was brought to life through photorealistic visualizations and professional drone footage—two years before construction was completed. Under the working title LAX2, we were commissioned in spring 2022 to create the visualizations and virtual reality tours for this development. Due to the sheer scale of the project, a minimum flight altitude of 130 meters was required to capture the necessary bird’s-eye perspective—one that also includes Vienna’s Central Station. At such altitudes, our pilots may only operate special drones, and we must coordinate closely with ACG (Austro Control Air Traffic Services) to ensure operations are both safe and legally compliant. The result: stunning visualizations, including several night versions showcasing impressive city lights; virtual tours of all seven apartment types; and an extensive outdoor VR tour. The high-resolution drone footage formed the essential foundation for delivering print-ready quality—not only for the classic renderings but also for the view and surroundings within the virtual tours.
